Studio KT1 is a creative agency powered by Kingston University students, sitting right at the heart of the university within the Student Development and Graduate Success Team.

TL:DR - It works.

Led by a project director with a cast of supporting students we work on creative briefs from industry giving our students valuable work experience and increasing employability before they graduate

Artists work in mixed teams as they would in industry, so an art director may work with a game designer or a fine art student works alongside a computer scientist. 

You benefit from fresh minds: people who have not been 'trained' by industry to think and work in a specific way.  The way they approach ideas is something the best advertising agency or service design company cannot replicate.  

How it works -

Our Process

You’ll be working with a bespoke team of students who are currently studying at KSA

01.

You co-design the brief with us

Whatever creative issue you need solving, we can find a way. We can work at speed or over a longer period of time - tying the project to an existing university module or completing the project outside of the curriculum.

02.

You brief the students

This can take place live or online, with a full class or separate groups. We think its crucial for you to deliver it then any questions can be fired at you and your team.

03.

Review ideas. Provide feedback

Feedback is crucial. Students benefit from constructive live feedback about their work and ideas, helping them improve at each stage of the project.

04.

Attend final pitches

We love to give students the experience of pitching - selling their ideas. It helps them learn. You sit back and listen - and choose the winner.

05.

Build out ideas. We deliver

We excel at making and doing. We’ve curated live experiences at the Bentall Centre, made 11 meter wide animations. and put an AI installation in the middle of a festival. Try us.
